Lorna and JP: a Rivervale Barn Wedding

Lorna loves Christmas and it was her dream to get married at Christmas time. This worked out very well, because all the details just fell into place around her dream, especially choosing a Rivervale Barn Wedding.

Being a Christmas favourite, red was the perfect colour to complement the day.  Lorna, JP and the bridal party looked amazing in it and it matched JP’s major input (Sunderland Football Club player’s names as table names).  Check out the bridesmaid’s dresses, the bouquets, table wreaths and other floral details all in red.  Red roses, red berries, red fabrics, Santa stockings, candy canes and Lorna’s Hunter wellies… nothing says Christmas like it. It was perfect.

Rivervale Barn itself is perfect for a winter wedding thanks to the incredible windows everywhere.  No dark winter shadows here – the whole venue was bathed in light from start to finish. Once the sun went down, there was the amazing pendant light hanging in the centre of the barn to light the room.
