David proposed to Kathryn at The Anchor Inn, a gorgeous little pub in Hampshire. That was, then, where they were to be married in an early December wedding on a clear, sunny day. Where Hampshire wedding photography is concerned, we couldn’t have asked for more.
As the guests arrived in the afternoon sun, they were greeted by Rupert the dog, dressed in his bow tie (Rupert being a treasured member of the family) and all manner of curios throughout the rooms. The ceremony took place in a beautiful, sunlit room with the best array of ‘famous faces’ portraits we’ve ever seen. Afterwards, the guests were kept warm outside with an array of tartan blankets, hot drinks and tasty ginger cakes. During that time we took advantage of the golden sunset over a field of thistles for some beautiful wedding portraits. After dinner and the speeches, the Ceilidh band played to everyone’s enjoyment and ensured much dancing and fun into the night.
We hope you enjoy the images, particularly the unusual table numbers which told guests of Kathryn and David’s story up until now. A favourite of ours was Table 7.5 (being the number of miles they walked on their first date). Or was it Table 8 (being the number of legs in their little family of Kathryn, David and Rupert the Dog)?
